Reception for Carolina Herrera exhibition: ‘Refined Irreverence’
1600 Peachtree St.
The SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film presents an exclusive, members-only reception celebrating “Refined Irreverence,” the first museum showing of Carolina Herrera’s work. Since launching her first collection in 1981 at the behest of legendary Vogue editor Diana Vreeland, Venezuelan-born Herrera has become synonymous with effortless elegance and modern refinement. This breathtaking selection of Herrera’s runway, day wear, and bridal and red-carpet gowns showcases timeless work from the designer’s oeuvre.
“Refined Irreverence” is curated by Rafael Gomes, SCAD director of fashion exhibitions.
