Join artist Gonzalo Hernandez (M.F.A., fibers, 2019; M.A., painting, 2019) and associate curator Ben Tollefson as they walk through Hernandez’s solo exhibition “):),” on view at the SCAD Museum of Art Alumni Gallery, Nov. 17, 2020–Jan. 24, 2021. The two discuss the artist’s works, which were created specifically for the gallery, and Hernandez’s artistic process and concepts, which are grounded in themes of identity, labor, and success and failure.
