Explore ancient design concept of Ma at SCAD School of Building Arts lecture series

Listen to a discussion on "Ma, the Space in Between: Raising Consciousness Through Communication and Design" with tvsdesign architect and commercial interior designer Kanika Arora (M.F.A., interior design, 2018) and SCAD communication coach Greg Skura.

Arora aims to rediscover the Japanese concept of Ma, roughly translated as a pause or space between two structural parts, by exploring examples in culture and the built environment. Skura will share how to locate and harness the energy of Ma to communicate with greater authenticity, power and presence.
