Winner of the 2019 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, the 2020 CFDA American Womenswear Designer of the Year, and a 2021 finalist for the LVMH Prize, Rogers launched his eponymous brand with his SCAD senior thesis collection in collaboration with Ripley, Rivera, and Tyson. The collection received major press after Cardi B wore the Eddie fox, mink, and ostrich intarsia fur coat to the BET Hip Hop Awards.

CJR has received major placements in elite publications like Vogue, WWD, and Elle, and been worn by huge celebrities, top models, and public figures like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Michelle Obama, Kamala Harris, Tracee Ellis Ross, Gabrielle Union, Tessa Thompson, Lizzo, Adele, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Ashley Graham, Eva Chen, Michaela Coel, and Jordan Alexander, among many others. Sold at select retail partners including Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, and McMullen, the NYC-based brand emphasizes quality manufacturing and timeless appeal, thriving on an ethos of sensitive, effortful dressing for a clientele with a strong sense of self and encourages its customers to take up space.

As part of SCAD FASHION 2022, the university is thrilled to honor Rogers with the André Leon Talley Award.
