Architect Pascale Sablan, FAIA, NOMA, LEED AP, shares insight from her extensive experience in mixed-use, commercial, cultural, and residential projects for international clients. Sablan, only the 315th Black woman to receive licensure in the U.S. of nearly 120,000 total architects, has developed spaces globally, including Saudi Arabia, India, Azerbaijan, Japan, and UAE. The award-winning architect is also the founder and executive director of Beyond the Built Environment, a platform that engages community through architecture to advocate equitable, reflectively diverse environments.
