‘Clybourne Park' offers gritty response to playhouse classic 'A Raisin in the Sun'
Feb. 26-28, 8 p.m.
March 1, 3 p.m.
SCAD performing arts presents Bruce Norris’ Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning play “Clybourne Park” directed by Sharon Ott. The play was originally written in response to Lorraine Hansberry’s classic “A Raisin in the Sun” and explores issues of race, real estate, and the volatile values of each through sharp-witted comedy. This play contains adult language and themes, and may not be suitable for young audiences.
All performances are open to the public. General admission is $20 or $15 with student, senior or military ID. Show your SCAD ID for free admission to the Feb. 26 performance or pay just $5 for a ticket to the other performances.
Purchase tickets in person at the Savannah Box Office, 216 E. Broughton St., by phone at 912.525.5050, or at savannahboxoffice.com. You can also buy tickets at the Lucas Theatre one hour prior to a performance.
