SCAD Savannah Film Festival
The largest university-run film festival in the world, the SCAD Savannah Film Festival transforms historic downtown Savannah into a film enthusiast's paradise through competition screenings, gala premieres, and panels with acclaimed industry guests. The eight-day festival has generated more than 6.9 billion media impressions, attracts more than 70,000 guests each year, and reached 26 million social media accounts last year.
SCAD TVfest
For more than a decade, SCAD TVfest has been Georgia's only festival to celebrate the latest in design, creativity, and innovation across television, streaming, and digital media. Across three star-studded days, SCAD TVfest offers numerous networking opportunities through screenings, premieres, panel discussions, and workshops that connect 14,578 attendees with more than 200 industry insiders working both in front of and behind the camera. Last year, SCAD TVfest's social media content earned more than two million impressions and 11,000 engagements.
SCAD FASHION runway show
Experience the art of living textures as students in SCAD's top-ranked School of Fashion showcase bold, expressive collections on the runway during the SCAD FASHION show. This event provides viewers with a rare glimpse at emerging talents in fashion, jewelry, accessories, fibers, and more. With more than 31 million media impressions and tens of thousands of online viewers, the event draws international attention.
SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival
During the SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival, SCAD students, alumni, and Savannah locals compete to transform historic Forsyth Park into a vibrant chalk art showcase. Each year, 10,000+ visitors attend to view stunning creations, enjoy local food, and listen to music performed by SCAD musical ensemble the Bee Sharps. At certain sponsorship levels, you can even create your own chalk award category.
SCAD Sand Arts Festival
Hosted by the School of Foundation Studies, the annual SCAD Sand Arts Festival is a shore-side sculpting competition at Tybee Island's beautiful South Beach. Students and alumni create marvelous sand and kinetic air sculptures for a chance at major prizes. This community-wide event attracts more than 5,000 visitors annually to Tybee Island. At certain sponsorship levels, you can even design your own competition theme.
SCAD deFINE ART
Drawing a crowd of 5,000, SCAD deFINE ART offers a vibrant array of experiences over five days, showcasing a variety of mediums and techniques from leading contemporary artists worldwide. The celebrated event features artist talks and lectures, diverse panels, gallery tours, and exclusive VIP receptions.
SCADstyle
Connect with the creative minds pushing the boundaries of fashion, design, interiors, technology, and more at SCADstyle, the university's four-day design symposium. At SCADstyle, attendees gain valuable insights on the latest industry trends through talks, panels, and activations featuring influential experts. On social media, SCADstyle coverage generates more than 70 million impressions overall with 21 million impressions during the event.
BAM! (Black Artists in Music)
SCAD is proud to present BAM!, the university's acclaimed concert series celebrating Black History Month and Black musical artists. The lively showcase features iconic songs from influential Black artists and highlights the rich traditions and innovations of Black music's influence worldwide.
SCAD StartUp
SCAD StartUp is the university's largest design competition, organized by students for students. For over a decade, this event has sparked our students' entrepreneurial spirit and promoted innovation and cross-disciplinary teamwork. Teams with more than 40 majors compete for a chance to win $5,000 and impress 20 guest judges from diverse industries.
Holiday Spectacular
Step into a winter wonderland to enjoy both timeless and new festive favorites at the beloved annual event, Holiday Spectacular. Featuring special guest stars and the university's top performance group, the Bee Sharps, this event is the perfect way to celebrate the holidays.
