Explore Austin art collective with artist Genna Williams at 'Comb the City with SCAD Alumni'

Join multidisciplinary designer Genna Williams (B.F.A., furniture design, 2014) and explore the art collective Broad Studios of Austin, Texas, founded to elevate womxn artists and educators alike. Williams also invites participants to experience the joy of honing their own distinct style through a brief showing of her own signature minimalist ceramics, home accessories, and lighting.

Genna Williams was awarded a 2017 SCAD Alumni Atelier ambassadorship in Lacoste, France. There, she developed her smoke-fired ceramics technique, infused in her work today. Her extensive experience working with designers throughout Austin, Texas has inspired her sleek ceramic forms. She is also a founding member of Broad Studios and the founder of Genna Williams Studios.

This event, brought to you by the office for career and alumni success, is free and open to the public.
