Take your support for inclusion further with SCAD CATALYST series featuring Diverso

Join Diverso team members Matt Zhang, managing director, and Mallom Liggon, director of impact and partnerships, for this episode of CATALYST. They will discuss the formation of student-run nonprofit Diverso, which aims to empower underrepresented storytellers of the next generation and work to tackle Hollywood's diversity problem at its source. They will also delve into their first initiative, The Minority Report, and how they hope to continue to diversify young talent entering the entertainment industry.

At the end of the conversation, you may ask Zhang and Liggon questions about Diverso. Students interested in applying to The Minority Report's fellowship are strongly encouraged to attend. Deadline to apply is Sept. 27. Details can be found here.

Diversity and inclusion take thoughtful and persistent work. CATALYST aims to shed light on what this work looks like by talking to companies about their journey — including successes and failures. CATALYST is a platform where students can ask questions directly to industry professionals and discuss action steps.

This event, hosted by the SCAD office for career and alumni success, is free and open to the public.

You are encouraged to submit your questions for speakers here.
