Wen He exhibition: 'Seeing What We Cannot See'

SCAD presents "Seeing What We Cannot See," a thesis exhibition by Wen He (M.F.A. painting). The exhibition features the artist’s exploration of the contrast between the seen and unseen, and the manifestation of artwork based on the synthesis of individual experiences and daily occurrences. She creates installations, sculptures and two-dimensional works from a host of media, including cut paper, Plexiglas, canvas, thread and fabric, among others.

A native of Hubei province, China, Wen He earned a B.A. in watercolor painting at the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts in 2014, prior to attending SCAD. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions, including "Paper Works" and "Far From Home" at Alexander Hall Gallery, Savannah, Georgia; "Regulation of 90's" at COS-J Space, Wuhan, China; "Modern Love" at Gutstein Gallery, Savannah; and "Perception of Savannah" at Kennedy Pharmacy, Savannah.
