Trace international fashion trends with professor Marcia Cohen

Enjoy Color Mode, a lecture detailing professor Marcia Cohen’s research and travel in Europe and Africa, where she examined color trends in fashion after receiving a 2015 Presidential Fellowship for research and travel.

The lecture is free and open to the public.

Cohen attended archives and exhibitions in Paris and London devoted to 20th-century fashion design. In Marrakech, she examined the mysterious blue hue of the interior walls and documented the botanical forms of Jardin Majorelle, the gardens surrounding the Moroccan residence of Yves Saint Laurent.
