The SCAD Bee Sharps are the university’s premier student vocal ensemble. Specializing in a range of musical genres, from Great American Songbook classics to popular spirituals and today’s pop hits, these elite SCAD student performers from around the U.S. do it all: sing, dance, and dazzle!

Bee Sharps turn training into real-world success

Bee Sharps members gain extensive stage and performance experience throughout their time at SCAD. Recent members Sam Hyre (B.F.A., performing arts, 2025), Brandon Bomer (B.F.A., acting, 2024), and Fiona Blanchet (B.F.A., acting, 2025) have made the leap from Bee Sharps to Broadway companies, international tours, on-camera work, and award-winning shows.

Join the SCAD Bee Sharps

Membership in the SCAD Bee Sharps is by audition only. Auditions are open to all SCAD students from any location, at any class level, and from any academic program.

Announcements about ensemble auditions, which typically occur in spring quarter in advance of the next academic year, are sent via SCAD email.
