*CANCELED* Join Women Who Create co-founder for SCAD CATALYST episode "Mentoring Women of Color"
*** THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED ***
In this episode of CATALYST, Ash Ramirez (she/they/their), a self-described “Chingona, Advocate, and Supporter,” discusses co-founding Women Who Create, a community of talented, multicultural women with the goal of increasing retention, gender and ethnic diversity, and the number of women in leadership positions in creative industries. In this conversation, students can ask questions about Ramirez's personal experiences and how to get involved with their organization.
Diversity and inclusion take thoughtful and persistent work. CATALYST aims to shed light on what this work looks like by talking to companies about their journey — both the successes and the struggles of promoting inclusion. CATALYST is a platform where students can ask questions directly to industry professionals and discuss action steps.
This event, hosted by the SCAD office for career and alumni success, is free and open to the public.
You are encouraged to submit your questions for speakers here.
