Learn the brushstrokes of business management with SCAD alum Chloe Strickland in virtual seminar
Discover how SCAD alum Chloe Strickland (B.F.A., fashion, 2019) turned a lifelong passion for art into a business supporting fellow creatives in this virtual presentation, part of The Business of Creatives series hosted by the SCAD office for career and alumni success.
An artist, blogger, and fashion designer, Strickland began selling her artwork at age 12 and started a business making live wedding paintings, Paint by Chloe, as a freshman at SCAD. Together with friend and multidisciplinary creative Sophia Winter, Strickland founded The Artizan Studios and The Artizan Academy, a creative consultancy and mentorship-based program supporting artists through lectures, coaching, and guided growth plans.
The Business of Creatives is a professional development webinar series hosted by the SCAD office for career and alumni success that connects students pursuing careers as creative entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small business owners with leading alums.
This event is free and open to the SCAD students and alums as well as the general public. SCAD alums can learn more about postgraduate benefits, job opportunities, and how to stay connected by signing up for the monthly CAS newsletter, joining the CAS LinkedIn or Facebook groups, or following SCAD CAS on Instagram and Twitter.
