Still not sure what exactly Chicago Style is? Can’t tell a footnote citation from a bibliography? Ever wondered what an ibid is but were too afraid to ask? Chicago Style, also known as Turabian Style, is the documentation style of choice for history, the arts and other humanities.

When writing papers, it is essential to document your findings correctly to avoid plagiarizing and maintain your credibility. Sit down with coordinator of academic writing Jennifer Johnson to learn the ins and outs of Chicago Style, including basic rules, its importance and what sets it apart from other common citation styles.
