SCADstyle brings designers and creative influencers to Savannah, Atlanta and Hong Kong


The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is pleased to announce that the 10th annual edition of SCADstyle, the university’s spring event devoted to the people and practice of design, will commence on Sunday, April 12th 2015. The weeklong event includes special contributions and curated presentations led by a unique roster of distinguished guests and global luminaries who continue to shape the landscape of style and design.

The SCADstyle series that will roll out over fives days, brings together more than 25 top international style leaders, each of whom are considered experts of their craft. Through this program, this eclectic group of visionaries will offer insight pertaining to their specific fields, touching on topics including, architecture, fashion, jewelry, design, as well as the business and company concepts that help define their success.

SCADstyle not only infiltrates the community in Savannah, but the event has a global reach as SCAD supports satellite programs in both Atlanta, Georgia and Hong Kong. The unparalleled lectures, panel discussions, and intimate conversations inspired by this international event, transcends college walls.

Guest highlights this year, including, Joseph Altuzarra, Lauren Bush Lauren (FEED) and Neil Blumenthal (Warby Parker) to name a few, create a platform for students to connect and learn from highly relevant, industry personalities, who continue to navigate challenges and respectfully excel within the true business of design. SCAD students will have the opportunity to directly interact with esteemed SCADstyle guests, shaping their creative careers towards professional success.
