Map for SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival 2026

Saturday, April 25, 2026

10 a.m.

  • Chalk distribution begins.
  • Unclaimed squares will be released if participants are not checked in by 11 a.m.

11 a.m.

  • Competition begins and participants may start chalking their squares.
  • Last call for participants to check in and pick up chalk at the distribution tent. You will be given a map to locate your square.

Noon to 12:45 p.m.
1:15 to 2 p.m.

  • Enjoy an ensemble performance by the SCAD Bee Sharps.

1-3 p.m.

  • Judging period.

4 p.m.

  • Results are announced.

Parking

Metered and nonmetered parking is available throughout downtown Savannah. View details on the city's parking zones, garages, and transportation.

Meters enforced north of Liberty Street: Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Meters enforced south of Liberty Street: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Forsyth Park is south of Liberty Street. SCAD parking lots are reserved for current students, staff, and faculty with SCAD parking permits.

After the competition

After snapping photos of your favorite sidewalk chalk art and tagging your posts with #SCADCHALK, find a spot on the lawn to enjoy local food and live music.
