SCAD Card holders receive complimentary tickets and passes, but must register to reserve them. SCAD Card holders should check their email for more information about tickets and passes.

Individual tickets are available for purchase. View the schedule and buy your tickets for screenings, presentations, and panels.

SCAD AnimationFest passes and tickets may be picked up during the festival at SCADshow.
Seating
Seating is limited and a festival pass does not guarantee a seat at these events. SCAD AnimationFest attendees should plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of festival events to secure a seat.
Refunds and exchanges

SCADshow is ADA accessible. For specific needs or to make a special request, email [email protected]. SCADshow requires at least three weeks advance notice for American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation.

Policies
You acknowledge that SCAD AnimationFest is a public event and that you have no expectation of privacy when participating in or attending SCAD AnimationFest. You irrevocably grant permission to SCAD, its affiliated companies and their agents, contractors, licensors, licensees, representatives, sponsors, partners, successors and assigns, and anyone authorized by them, in perpetuity on a worldwide basis, to utilize your name, image, likeness, social media handles, written text, voice, performance, and biographical data, in whole or in part, in any live or recorded audio, video, photographic images, quotes, print, etc., for any purposes, including without limitation in any and all advertising, marketing, or publicity materials associated with SCAD AnimationFest and/or SCAD, in any and all manners and media now known or hereafter devised worldwide without further authorization from or compensation to you, and you hereby waive any and all such rights and claims that you may have with respect to such use of your likeness.
Pass and ticket policy
SCAD AnimationFest access requires a pass or ticket. SCAD AnimationFest passes and tickets are nontransferable. Performers, speakers, artists, and other scheduled talent are subject to change or cancelation at any time without notice. No refund will be owed if any performers, speakers, artists, or other scheduled talent, performance, or group is changed or canceled and the event still occurs. Using a pass or ticket to SCAD AnimationFest signifies agreement to all terms and conditions. Passholders and ticketholders are not guaranteed access to all screenings. For screenings with audience limitations, access is granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Media policy
Recording, photographing, or broadcasting to any non-passholders or ticketholders of SCAD AnimationFest sessions and screenings is not permitted. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes any recording or photographing for personal use and broadcasting for non-commercial purposes.
You may not transmit or assist in the transmission of any aspect of SCAD AnimationFest. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes posting or live-streaming pictures, video, or other recordings of SCAD AnimationFest on social media or otherwise.
Screenings access policy
Some SCAD AnimationFest screenings may have audience caps in place. Passholders and ticketholders are not guaranteed access to all screenings. For screenings with audience limitations, access is granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Security policy
By attending SCAD AnimationFest you agree to the terms located at scad.edu/terms-of-use.
All patrons entering SCAD performance venues are subject to search and may be screened by security staff. No large bags, purses, or backpacks are permitted inside the venues, and small bags are subject to search. Firearms of any kind are prohibited on SCAD property. SCAD reserves the right to refuse items which may cause a danger or disruption to the event or to other patrons. Any patron who declines to be searched or is in possession of prohibited items may be denied entry or ejected from the facility.
Passes, tickets, and privileges may be revoked without refund at any time for any reason at the sole discretion of SCAD AnimationFest, without any liability to SCAD AnimationFest or SCAD. By purchasing a pass, or other SCAD AnimationFest materials, you hereby release and hold harmless SCAD and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, successors, assigns, licensors and licensees, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims resulting in connection with a SCAD AnimationFest event.
SCADshow
All 2024 SCAD AnimationFest events are presented at SCAD Atlanta's SCADshow theater. Part of the university's FORTY FIVE residence hall complex, SCADshow features two state-of-the-art spaces — a 700-seat main stage and an intimate 130-seat black box theater — with industry-leading projection and sound production technology. SCADshow also hosts SCAD TVfest, an annual celebration of TV and streaming stars and shows held every February.
Parking
Patrons are strongly encouraged to use rideshare apps when attending events at SCADshow.
Parking is available at 1422 W. Peachtree St. NW; the garage is free for SCAD Card holders and pay-to-park for the general public. The parking garage's entrance is located on 18th Street NW. To access the garage, turn right onto 18th Street NW from West Peachtree Street NW or left onto 18th Street NW from Spring Street NW. Exit the parking garage off 18th Street NW, turn right, and then immediately left at the traffic light onto Spring Street NW.
Additional theater parking is available at the SCAD Atlanta parking deck (1600 Peachtree St. NW), which is approximately a 10-minute walk from SCADshow. From the parking deck, patrons can access SCADshow by walking down SCAD Way and through the courtyard between FORTY and FORTY FIVE.
School of Animation and Motion
SCAD School of Animation and Motion students deliver captivating moments across multiple platforms. From illuminating fantastical realms and characters to expertly integrating motion media in virtual studio environments and public spaces, animation, motion media design, and visual effects students develop the acumen, creativity, and dexterity necessary to launch their creative careers.
