Kent Knowles exhibition: 'Supernature'

SCAD foundation studies professor and associate chair of fine arts Kent Knowles is a prominent figurative artist and author known for his atmospheric surrealist style. His most recent paintings address themes of self-preservation and isolation. He is the author and illustrator of two children’s books, Lucius and the Storm and The Realm of Smaller Things, and is an avid writer of horror screenplays. He is represented by Alan Avery Art Company, Atlanta, Ga.; Linda Matney Gallery, Williamsburg, Va.; and the Morren Galleries in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Supernature combines Kent’s distinctive marks with his penchant for storytelling, inviting viewers into a realm of texture and otherworldly wonders.

Join Kent Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. for an artist talk among the works. This event is free and open to the public.
