Explore furniture design with alum Lulu LaFortune at 'The Business of Creatives' series
Lulu LaFortune (B.F.A., furniture design, 2018) is a designer in Los Angeles who specializes in bringing handcrafted techniques into modern 21st century furniture design. She believes that craftsmanship within home decor should be heavily considered, as it is integral to the longevity and timelessness of any design.
LaFortune focused her studies on furniture design and received two minors in interior design and textile design from SCAD. She has a passion for perfecting a harmonious relationship between the three areas of design. Her professional work with Kelly Wearstler has been featured in Vogue, Architectural Digest, Elle Décor UK, and Sight Unseen, and her first collection, Joie de Vivre, recently launched.
