Tell inclusive stories with tips from Industrial Light & Magic in SCAD CATALYST series
Discover how diversity and empathy are keys to inclusive storytelling across film and television in conversation with Jess Teach, vice president of operations at Industrial Light & Magic.
Teach will discuss neurodiversity and gender within the visual effects industry and answer questions about inclusion at ILM, a legendary animation and special effects company that has contributed to Star Wars, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and hundreds of other films.
Diversity and inclusion take thoughtful and persistent work. CATALYST aims to shed light on what this work looks like by talking to companies about their journey — including successes and failures. CATALYST is a platform where students can ask questions directly to industry professionals and discuss action steps.
This event, hosted by the SCAD office for career and alumni success, is free and open to the public.
