Kick off SCAD deFINE ART 2020 at block party and opening reception

Don't miss out when the SCAD Museum of Art celebrates the opening of SCAD deFINE ART 2020 with a momentous block party that features new exhibitions, performances, and an illustration battle between SCAD departments. Explore exhibitions by internationally acclaimed artists including this year’s SCAD deFINE ART honoree Marilyn Minter, as well as Igshaan Adams, Charlie Billingham, Kenturah Davis, Raúl de Nieves, Rodrigo Hernández, Anna Maria Maiolino, Wong Ping, Xavier Robles de Medina, and Shoplifter. Drag artist and violinist Thorgy Thor will also make a special guest appearance.

This event is free and open to the public. It is presented as part of SCAD deFINE ART 2020, the university’s annual program of exhibitions, lectures, and performances held Feb. 18–20 at locations in Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia.
