Attend Gabrielle Union's 'Real Life Book Club Tour'
Join actress, activist and author Gabrielle Union for a reading and in-depth discussion on her new book "We're Going to Need More Wine: Stories."
Described as resembling the spirit of Amy Poehler’s "Yes Please" and Roxane Gay's "Bad Feminist," Union's collection of thought-provoking personal essays delves into issues of gender, sexuality, race, beauty, Hollywood, and what it means to be a modern woman. The actress currently stars in the critically acclaimed drama "Being Mary Jane" on BET, and is an outspoken activist for women’s reproductive health and victims of sexual assault.
Union will sign copies of her book after the reading. Follow Union's book tour on social media with the hashtag #GabWithGab.
This event, sponsored by the Ivy Hall Writers Series and A Cappella Books, is free for SCAD Card holders and $30 for the general public. Purchase tickets via Eventbrite.
