Take a peek through the lens of photographer Jo Farrell

Join award-winning photographer Jo Farrell as she presents work from “Living History: Bound Feet Women of China,” a seven-year project capturing a glimpse into the rarely documented Chinese tradition of foot binding.

Using black-and-white film and limited edition silver gelatin prints, Farrell documents a variety of vanishing traditions and dying cultures, from stilt fisherman in Sri Lanka to Qing and Ming dynasty villages in China.

Farrell’s work has been published in Creative Quarterly, The San Francisco Chronicle, BBC News, Lip Magazine and more and exhibited internationally.
