Show off your best work at the 2015 Foundations Honors Show

Display your drawing and design skills, and demonstrate how they have prepared you for artistic and academic success.

Deadline for digital submissions: Friday, April 10
Notification of inclusion delivered by Monday, April 13

Exhibition dates: Wallin Hall, May 1-16

Reception and award announcements: Wallin Hall, Friday, May 15, 3-4:30 p.m.

Eligibility: Open to all students enrolled in a foundation studies class during the 2014-2015 academic year. Work in any medium is accepted. Work must have been created in a SCAD foundation studies class.

Submit one to five images of any size for jury review. Submissions may include all drawing forms, including but not limited to sketchbooks, computer-generated drawings, working drawings, illustrations, fine art, storyboards, installations, prints, quick sketches, conceptual, mechanical, digital media, idea development, sculptural, graphic and technical, 2-D design, 3-D design, color theory work, sculpture, ceramics, sculptural applications in the arts, painting, fibers, metals and jewelry, computer 3-D work, furniture design, industrial design and architecture.

Email images in a PowerPoint presentation.

  • The subject line of the email should read “2015 FHS”. 
  • The email text should provide the artist’s name, contact information and major/minor.

Each PowerPoint image should include the following information:

  • Artist
  • Contact information
  • Major/minor
  • Title of work
  • Medium
  • Dimensions

Please note if your work is digital and should be exhibited on an LCD screen. Both hard copy (ready to hang) and digital submissions will be exhibited.
