Welcome film's finest this fall at the 2026 SCAD Savannah Film Festival

The SCAD Savannah Film Festival, the largest university-run film festival in the world, is back this October to celebrate the cinematic excellence of award-winning professionals and emerging student auteurs from around the globe! The festival returns for its 29th edition to welcome fans and filmmakers for a week’s worth of acclaimed films, insightful panels, and honored guests to scenic Savannah.

The SCAD Savannah Film Festival has screened more than 275 Academy Award-nominated films and honored more than 200 legendary film creatives over its history. The festival hosts screenings of innovative features, shorts, animations, and documentaries from around the globe, as well as insightful series and panels like The Hollywood Reporter's Docs to Watch, Variety's 10 Artisans to Watch, and Pixels and Pencils: Top Animated Contenders. Attendees enjoy major studio releases and independent films prior to their theatrical debuts; meet legendary directors, artisans, and stars at talks, panels, and workshops; and make career-defining connections with industry insiders.
