Heed 'Denim Tears from the Pool of Black Genius' in depth at SCAD MOA
The SCAD Museum of Art welcomes the Savannah community to see highlights from the Walter and Linda Evans Collection of African American Art. Enjoy the rare opportunity to see the myriad works featured in Tremaine Emory’s groundbreaking exhibition Denim Tears from the Pool of Black Genius, including significant artworks by lauded Black artists such as Jacob Lawrence, Romare Bearden, Faith Ringgold, and additional historical catalysts that define their generations. Two back-to-back 30-minute tours are scheduled on both days to accommodate visitors.
Tour times: 12:15 p.m. and 1 p.m.
