'Forgotten Island' Premiere and Tribute to Joel Crawford

Join SCAD AnimationFest for a special premiere screening of DreamWorks Animation’s highly anticipated new film Forgotten Island and a celebration of its acclaimed director Joel Crawford. Prior to the screening, Crawford will receive the Variety Creative Impact in Animation Award, honoring his exceptional creativity, visionary storytelling, and contributions to the art of animation.

Following the screening, Crawford will take the stage for a conversation exploring the creative journey behind Forgotten Island, as well as the experiences, collaborations, and creative vision that have shaped his remarkable career and established him as one of animation’s most exciting filmmakers. The celebration concludes with an exclusive book signing of The Art of DreamWorks Forgotten Island with Crawford and author Jerry Schmitz. Books will be available for purchase before and after the event!
