Greet real stories with roaring laughter at ‘Road Trip’ improv SCADshow performance
Experience the biggest independent improv show in Atlanta at a special pop-up event at SCADshow. A completely improvised show based on real stories, the electric Road Trip is commonly referred to as the heartbeat of Atlanta improv and recently received the Audience’s Choice award for Large Ensemble at the Atlanta Fringe Festival.
The SCADshow Road Trip show will be hosted by veteran improv Madeline Evans, with featured storytellers Jeena Wilder and Mel Mitchell joined by actor and SCAD associate chair of acting Craig Anton. Wilder, an Atlanta-based content creator with more than two million followers on TikTok, shares her unique experience as a transracial adoptive parent and a mother of five children, raising awareness about the challenges and joys of multicultural families. A dynamic and witty comedian, Mitchell’s comedic journey began in 2018, fueled by a natural flair for humor, storytelling and a series of unfortunate events. A graduate of the theatre arts programs at the University of Nebraska and California State University, Long Beach, Anton’s list of acting, writing, standup, and directing credits include Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Key & Peele, and New Girl.
Prepurchased tickets are $15 for the general public and are $20 if purchased on the day of event. Tickets are $10 for SCAD students, faculty, and staff. For more information, email [email protected] and follow @roadtripimprov for cast updates and possible surprise guests!
