Ride the exhilarating wave of 'Point Break' at Lucas Theatre screening
When FBI agent Johnny Utah (Keanu Reeves) goes undercover to infiltrate a cadre of California surfers suspected of bank robbery, things get complicated when the group’s philosophizing leader Bodhi (Patrick Swayze) puts Utah under his charismatic spell. One of the greatest action extravaganzas of the 1990s, complete with Swayze performing his own stunts, this no-holds-barred ode to adrenaline from director Kathryn Bigelow is responsible for one of the greatest on-screen bromances ever committed to film. Newly restored in 4K resolution, Point Break is the ideal heart-pounding summer adventure.
Tickets for the screening are $5 for SCAD Card holders, students, seniors, and military, and $8 for the general public. Passes for the Endless Summer series are available for $40.
