Laugh out loud to the real stories of ‘Road Trip’ improv at SCADshow performance
Experience the biggest independent improv show in Atlanta at a special pop-up event at SCADshow’s Stage 2. A completely improvised show based on real stories, the electric Road Trip is commonly referred to as the heartbeat of Atlanta improv.
The performance features a rotating cast of storytellers and some of the best improv actors in Atlanta, with previous Road Trip storytellers appearing on America’s Got Talent, Parks and Recreation, Grace and Frankie, Animal Control, and Wild N’ Out, among others. Fast-rising stand-up comedian Andrew Stanley will return to Road Trip as the night’s featured storyteller. Stanley, who has performed nationwide since 2016, pairs a unique perspective with observational nature and a dry delivery. Stanley has performed at Montreal’s prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and appeared in Nate Bargatze’s The Showcase in 2023.
Road Trip will be preceded by an opening set by SCAD improv students. Tickets are $10 for SCAD Card holders and $15 for the general public if purchased by Tuesday, March 31; tickets will be $20 for the general public on the day of the performance. For more information, email [email protected].
