Johnny Cohen exhibition: 'Plastics'

In his solo exhibition Plastics, SCAD alum Johnny Cohen (M.F.A., sculpture, 2021) examines the aesthetics of mass-produced products, critiquing consumerism through a fine art lens. Cohen’s work often blurs the boundaries between sculpture, industrial design, and merchandising. Plastics includes recent sculptures, wall paintings, graphics, sketches, and maquettes that use strategies of deconstruction and reconstruction. Cohen lives and works in Atlanta and was recently selected by The Hambidge Center to exhibit his thesis work at its experimental space, the Cross-Pollination Art Lab.
