King is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer currently starring in the hit HBO series Euphoria, where she plays Leslie Bennett, the mother of Zendaya’s character Rue. King studied at the Groundlings, a famous improv and sketch comedy troupe and school in LA, while simultaneously working on her stand-up, and has been featured on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out, 2 Broke Girls, Greenleaf, Kevin Hart’s Guide to Black History, and more.
