Discuss entrepreneurship as a person of color with award-winning illustrator in SCAD CATALYST series
Explore how to become a successful entrepreneur as a person of color with R. Gregory Christie, award-winning artist, illustrator, entrepreneur, and founder of GAS-ART Gifts, for this episode of CATALYST. Christie will share some of the personal challenges he has overcome as an artist and business owner. He will detail his insights on multiculturalism, and at the end of the conversation, you may ask him questions.
Diversity and inclusion take thoughtful and persistent work. CATALYST aims to shed light on what this work looks like by talking to companies about their journey — including successes and failures. CATALYST is a platform where students can ask questions directly to industry professionals and discuss action steps.
This event, hosted by the SCAD office for career and alumni success, is free and open to the public.
You are encouraged to submit your questions for speakers here.
