Rahul Mishra is the first Indian designer to show at Paris Haute Couture Week. Praised by the likes of Suzy Menkes and Franca Sozzani, he champions traditional Indian crafts including hand-weaving and embroidery. Looking at luxury from the lens of participation and not just consumption, Mishra uses fashion as a tool to empower local craft communities in India, enabling sustainable livelihoods for more than 1,000 artisans.
