Get an artist’s perspective during ‘Hypothetical Function' gallery talk

Join associate curator Ben Tollefson in conversation with three artists exhibiting in the group show Hypothetical Function. Artists Luke Batchelder (B.F.A. painting), Russ Noto (M.F.A., painting, 2012), and Nikki Zuaro (M.F.A. painting) speak about their work as it pertains to the theme of the exhibition. Hypothetical Function presents objects and images that explore the role of utility in art, examining the function of aesthetics and design. 

Reception: Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020, 7 p.m.

Gallery hours: Monday–Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This exhibition and reception are free and open to the public and are presented as part of SCAD deFINE ART 2020, the university’s annual program of commissions, exhibitions, lectures, and performances held Feb. 18–20 at university locations in Atlanta and Savanah, Georgia.
