Winner of the 2007 Academy Award for Best Costume Design, Marie Antoinette (2006), directed by Sofia Coppola, is a retelling of France’s ill-fated queen (Kirsten Dunst), from her betrothal and marriage to Louis XVI (Jason Schwartzman) at 15, to beginning her reign as queen at 19, to the fall of Versailles.
