Fashion doc ‘Make It In America’ explores reinvigoration of American apparel industry

SCAD presents a screening of James Belzer’s compelling documentary “Make It In America: Empowering Global Fashion,” followed by a revealing Q-and-A session with the director himself.

This striking film explores the reinvigoration of U.S. apparel production through the eyes of American textile factory workers and influential fashion industry insiders, and is highlighted by exclusive interviews with designers Nanette Lepore, Anna Sui, Martha Stewart and Ralph Rucci.

The screening and Q-and-A session are free and open to SCAD ID holders. Shuttles from SCAD Atlanta will be provided.
