About the Atelier
SCAD Alumni Atelier commissions artists, designers and scholars to create new work, awarding each ambassador up to $25,000 for travel costs, meals, supplies and honoraria.
Alumni Atelier ambassadors are awarded a one-time honorarium upon completion of commissioned work.
Meals are provided for the duration of the residency.
A budget for materials is in place for the creation and completion of the commissioned work.
Alumni Atelier ambassadors receive a travel allowance to and from the SCAD campus at which they are accepted.
