Born in Quito, Ecuador, Jose Hadathy (B.F.A., painting, 2013) is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Atlanta. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in painting — a medium that inspiringly lends itself to his professional aesthetic. Hadathy is the creative design manager at Atlanta United FC and was chosen to represent his city with the official 2026 FIFA World Cup poster. A lifelong soccer fanatic and generational artist, Hadathy has leveraged his two passions as sources of personal connection since childhood. His grandfather Bolivar Mena Franco was a renowned artist in Ecuador, ensuring Hadathy grew up in an environment influenced by self-expression.
