Gonzalo Hernandez

In his multifaceted practice, Gonzalo Hernandez eliminates the distinction between art and life, culling from personal narratives related to contemporary dilemmas. His work has been exhibited internationally at Laundromat Art Space, Miami; the SCAD Museum of Art, Savannah; CCPUCP, Lima; and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, Atlanta, among others. Hernandez was part of the first Chuquimarca residency program in Chicago in 2020. He graduated from SCAD in 2019 with an M.F.A. in fibers and in 2018 with an M.A. in painting and earned a B.A. from Escuela de Artes Visuales Corriente Alterna.
