Edith Fogel exhibition: "The Nature of Being"

The SCAD exhibitions department presents "The Nature of Being," an exhibition by M.F.A. photography student Edith Fogel. The exhibition explores the condition of being human beyond physical presence and celebrates the spiritual dimension of life. She finds beauty in material flaws of historical tintypes that are merged with color film to create this series of images. The duality of materials used in the assemblage of these photographic portraits create an echo that speaks once yet reverberates both the physical and intangible natures of being. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
