Simon Ungless

Simon Ungless, best known for co-creating the "Taxi Driver" collection with Lee Alexander McQueen, helped shape the Alexander McQueen brand and introduced Sarah Burton to the designer in 1996. That same year, he founded the Fashion School at Academy of Art University in California, later becoming creative director of Korean brand Member Holiday. Returning to McQueen in 2020, Ungless led print design for key collections. With more than 35 years in fashion, he has collaborated with brands like Givenchy, Versace, and Nike. Today, Ungless and his husband Jody Niederkohr run sustainable design companies under U.N. Real Production, with collections sold in New York, Los Angeles, and Sausalito, Calif.
