Ovetta Sampson

Ovetta Sampson is the founder of Right AI, a consultancy that helps enterprise organizations identify opportunities and manage risks when implementing artificial intelligence. She guides companies in developing safe, responsible strategies for integrating AI-powered experiences across products and operations. Previously, Sampson worked as Google's director of UX, AI, and compute enablement and director of user experience for machine learning, where she helped shape new methods for making AI and machine learning more accessible and impactful for broad user communities. A leader whose background spans journalism, computer science, and design, she has worked at Capital One, Microsoft, and IDEO. She also serves as AI principal advisor to Gidens, an AI startup focused on simplifying business compliance. In 2023, Sampson founded the Black Design Leadership Program, dedicated to expanding design practice through inclusive, multicultural, and accessible methodologies.
