Adrian Pepe is a Honduras-born fibers artist with a specialized process rooted in materiality, labor, and the ritual of making. Through tactile processes such as felting, spinning, embroidery, and hand-dyeing, Pepe explores the cultural and ecological dimensions of textiles. His work interweaves elements of nature, myth, and embodied gesture, producing objects and installations that function as living archives. Each work reflects a dialogue between the organic and the symbolic: hybridized skins, wall hangings, and soft sculptural forms that echo ancestral techniques and contemporary urgencies. These works emerge from deliberate labor to showcase the accumulation of effort, decay, and care that imprints itself onto fiber. Pepe is currently based in Lebanon, a place that greatly informs his practice.
