What is SCAD AnimationFest?

 

SCAD AnimationFest offers audiences of professionals and fans inside looks at animated film and television, game design, and digital media. Taking place Sept. 25-27, the festival provides unparalleled access to industry titans, special screenings, insightful presentations, live Q&As, and other original content. SCAD AnimationFest 2025 is presented on location at SCAD Atlanta's SCADshow theater.

How do I attend SCAD AnimationFest events?

 

It is simple — purchase a ticket or pass that best suits your festival experience. You may purchase individual tickets per event, or purchase a festival pass offering full access to screening, presentations, and panels.

Does festival programming still include live presentations, panels, and master classes?

 

Yes. All presentations and panel discussions are live at the time and date listed in the schedule. Most events include Q&A sessions.

How will I receive my pass or ticket to attend SCAD AnimationFest events?

 

SCAD AnimationFest passes and tickets can be picked up during the festival at SCADshow.

Does having a festival pass or ticket guarantee me access to all events?

 

No. Festival seating is first-come, first-served. We recommend arriving to SCAD venues 20 minutes before the start of the event. Refunds are not available for events that reach max capacity.

With resources that rival Hollywood studios, award-winning professors, stunning locations, professionally run casting offices, and stellar film and television festivals, the SCAD School of Film and Acting is the ideal place to launch into the film and television industry. The SCAD acting, cinematography, editing, film and television, production design, and sound design programs prepare students to command roles onstage, on screen, and behind the scenes in films, live performances, TV sitcoms, dramas, music videos, commercials, and more.
