Red Godfrey
Red Godfrey’s career spans more than 20 years of brand and product leadership in design, merchandising, and marketing for global corporations, designer labels, multi-brands, and vertical retailers. Born and raised in London, Godfrey entered the industry as a designer for Maria Cornejo in Paris and went on to work for Katharine Hamnett, where she first developed a passion for sustainability before establishing her own design and branding consultancy. Named global creative director at Nike in 2004, she led the brand’s overall strategic vision before joining Nordstrom in 2010. Establishing the Fashion Office in 2013, Godfrey aligned the company’s viewpoint on fashion, trends, and style across design, merchandising, buying, and marketing for both Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. In 2016, she was named vice president of creative for Nordstrom Inc.
