Giacomo Golinelli
With a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology, Giacomo Golinelli specializes in the historical impact of urbanism, working in territories between Europe and the Caucasus that are often overlooked by institutional history to discover the value and potential of untapped archives. Golinelli previously worked as a digital editor in various sectors, broadening his expertise in journalism and design before joining Promemoria Group, an archival enhancement company innovating methods for systemizing historical records. As COO of Promemoria, he leads the creation of new standards for managing digital archives and stewarding heritage for organizations and cultural institutions. Golinelli also oversees Promemoria’s magazine ARCHIVIO, which sheds light on unpublished fragments and extraordinary stories about archives, encouraging new perspectives on the idea and practice of memory.
