Carson Kressley
Carson Kressley started his career as an independent stylist and quickly became an invaluable consultant to major designers like Ralph Lauren. In 2003, he became a breakout television star as the fashion guru on Bravo's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, which won a Primetime Emmy and gained him a worldwide following.
Through his close relationship with Oprah Winfrey, Kressley revolutionized America's personal fashion sense on the Oprah Winfrey Network's Carson Nation. During the run of this celebrated show, Kressley traveled to small towns throughout the U.S., transforming lives with his signature style, humor, and heart. He has hosted multiple TV shows, including Lifetime's How to Look Good Naked and ABC's True Beauty, and has competed on reality competitions such as Dancing with the Stars, The New Celebrity Apprentice, Hollywood Game Night, and Celebrity Family Feud, raising awareness and donations for several charities. Since 2015, Kressley has been a judge on the Emmy Award-winning series RuPaul's Drag Race. He recently rejoined his Queer Eye alum Thom Filicia for their new interior design show, Get A Room with Carson and Thom. Kressley continues to appear as a fashion critic for Live with Kelly and Ryan, Good Morning America, and The Wendy Williams Show.
Over a decade-long relationship with SCAD, Kressley has shared his style knowledge and media expertise with students at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival, SCAD aTVfest, and during his most recent book tour, which made a stop at SCAD Atlanta. Kressley is the author of The New York Times' best-sellers You're Different and That's Super, Off the Cuff: The Essential Style Guide for Men and the Women Who Love Them, and Does This Book Make My Butt Look Big? In 2019, Kressley presented the keynote address at SCAD Atlanta Commencement and was awarded an honorary doctorate of humane letters.
