Ryan Korban

Interior designer

Ryan Korban is a New York City-based interior designer known for his eclectic use of exotic patterns, textural fabrics and sleek surfaces to create sophisticated spaces for discerning clientele. Drawing on inspirations ranging from Monet paintings to Helmut Newton photographs, Korban creates seductive, wondrous designs that transcend and redefine traditional interiors for a new generation.

Korban has designed some of the finest retail spaces for fashion houses such as Alexander Wang, Altuzarra, Balenciaga and, most recently, shoe label Aquazzura. His portfolio also extends to the homes of prominent figures in the worlds of music and film, including actor James Franco.

In 2016, Korban, a graduate of The New School in New York City, won an International Property Award for best retail interior. He was named one of Architectural Digest’s "AD100" in 2017. His first book, "Luxury Redefined," an ode to his playfully irreverent stylings, was published by Harper Design.
